I am licensed by the Board of Occupational Therapy in New Mexico, registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and have extensive experience providing Neurological Rehabilitation to patients who have suffered Strokes (CVA), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI) in neurological rehabilitation, hospitals, in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation centers. I am licensed in New Mexico to provide neurological rehabilitation therapies including: Neuromuscular Reeducation (NMRE), Manual Massage Therapy, Active Isolated Muscle Stretching and Activation and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) retraining in the comfort of your own home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
My Neurological Rehabilitation approach is researched base to help facilitate Neuroplasticity / retrain the connection between the brain, nerves and muscles in order to help improve Active Range of Motion (AROM), Fine and Gross Motor Coordination, Strength, Endurance, Sensation and Propriocetion (awareness of body position).
